Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®)
Workshops Melbourne

What is the MBTI instrument?

The Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) instrument has helped millions of individuals around the world gain valuable self awareness and personal insights about themselves and how they interact with others. The MBTI® instrument enables personal transformation by giving us a powerful tool for improving how we prefer to communicate, work, learn and play.

The MBTI® can be used to enhance leadership and team effectiveness, improve communication, change management and conflict resolution.  Our experienced MBTI® practitioner, Jo Fraser, will take articipants through a fun, informative and interactive 1/2 day workshop where you will learn how:

  • to identify their own MBTI® “best fit” personality type
  • They prefer to focus their attention and get energy (Extraversion/Introversion)
  • They prefer to take in information (Sensing/iNtuition
  • They prefer to make decisions (Thinking/Feeling)
  • They prefer to organise and run their own life and engage with the external world (Judging/Perceiving)

The MBTI dichotomy activities we did really demonstrated how different we are as a team with regard to how we communicate and make decisions. Understanding our preferences will help avoid conflict in the workplace.

I did a MBTI team building workshop over 20 years ago and couldn't remember much about it. Jo's made sure we understood our own preferences and didn't try to pigeon hole us. Understanding that we use all our preferences really made it click for me.

What we covered today in the customer service training will really help me in my new role. I really enjoyed the part on empathy and building rapport. Was a nice crossover with communication skills training.

Don't normally believe in personality assessments but this one was on the mark. Did the MBTI instrument online and had a personal debrief with Jo. Was really informative and made a lot of sense. I'm converted.

Great introduction to myers briggs personality types. Did it years ago and couldn't remember what my type was. Today's workshop locked it in for me. Thanks.

During COVID iso it was great that I could still do an individual MBTI session. It was customised as I had a basic level of knowledge and we were able to cover an extensive amount of material.

Fun workshop. We had our whole group of teachers in the workshop and it was an eye opener on how same, and different, we all are. We have all made a MBTI team pledge that we will acknowledge and accept all personality preferences.
